Aaron had a big Cars party last year. We think he might have been a little overwhelmed because he told us all year that he didn't want a birthday party this year. He only requested a Bob and Larry cake. So, we decided it would be a good idea to take him and a friend to a fun place and then have his cake with Mom and Dad. It seemed to please him. Although he did say after the fact that he does want a party with his friends!?!? Trust me, he's not crying about it.
We had Aaron wait in the basement with Daddy while Mommy finished the cake.
